Redout 2, the game that takes place in a futuristic world where cars race on tracks to determine which vessel will rule and dominate. The original Redout was released back in 2016, and now developer 34BigThings is working with 505 games for an upcoming sequel expected to release sometime in 2022.
34BigThings and Saber Interactive, the creators of the world’s fastest anti-gravity (AG) racing game, have announced that Redout 2 will be released in 2022.
Redout 2 is a throwback to games like Wipeout and F-Zero, featuring lightning-fast speeds of over 1,000 km/h and a straightforward driving system. Hundreds of events have been added over 36 distinct racetracks (all reversible), ranging from Arena Races to Time Attacks to Last Man Standing and Boss Races.
Propulsors, stabilizers, rudders, intercoolers, flaps, magnets, wings, spoilers, rocket engines, and colors will all be available for players to modify their ships. The game has a single-player story as well as competitive online multiplayer, as well as a music including Giorgio Moroder, Zardonic, and Dance with the Dead.

The PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC will all get the game (via Steam and the Epic Games Store).
